Advantages in traditional classroom

• to maintain classroom discipline
• to allow the teacher to control classroom activities through lecture presentation and teacher -led discussions
• to be independent learner with the end of making the critical and creative thinkers

Disadvantages in traditional classroom

• their is a tendency that the student are copying the work of her/his classmates during the activities done

Advantages in SCL Classroom

• the student become active not passive learners, who can interact with other learners
• demonstrating independence
• self-awareness in the learning process
  
• student just search any information in the internet
• performing computer word processing for the text or graph presentation
• preparing power-point presentation
• brainstorming on the ideas,problem

Disadvantages in SCL Classroom

• in this way some student are not listen creatively to the speaker
• some student become lazy
  
• some student at the back set are not listening they keep on talking with their seatmates
