My knowledge about Information Technology

                 Before I enroll in this subject my knowledge or skills about information technology (IT) is not so broad. I just learned something about on how to manipulate in some software in the computer.One of this is how to use the Microsoft word it can be used in text by encoding some questioner that can be used in examination.And also Microsoft excel, I used it when I have some project to be made.Using this Microsoft excel I can easily make a table in my project.I know already how to use PowerPoint presentation,during our reporting in some subject.My teacher also teach us on how to use the adobe photo shop.

                By enrolling this subject EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY 2 my knowledge about information technology was expanded.Now I learned on how to make my own blogs pot account .On how to post some information in my account.I know how to add some gadget in my blogs pot account,with the so could hyperlink.Now  I know how to take an online examination in the computer with internet connection.To take a quiz in the computer with internet connection and also take a weekly attendance in my G mail account.I learned also how use the conference room in yahoo mail.This time I know on how to download some picture, video or icon in Google and transfer to my account.How to make a new blogs pot account then invite my friends in this site using the G mail account.

              I apply my knowledge about information techhnology during my practicum or teaching career using on it.By using a hard copy during the test or examination, it show that I use my knowledge about microsoft word.In coputing the grades of my pupils microsoft excel is necessary on it.If I teach in the shcool  that have a computer device it is easy for me to apply my skills in information technology .Then share my knowledge to the class.

In cooperative learning process we cannot discount the fact that interdependence is also a factor to the learning process where in thru this goal we can create a different point of view to which cooperative learning is much concerned.More over interdependence will provides the learners a socialization between other .However when a group member perceive that they are linked with each other they in a way that cannot succed unless everyone succeds thus this is embodied different concept and principles which geared and propelled to one goal which is learning.

There are 5 elements that must considered in cooperative learning.
*A COMMON GOAL-this factor is a vital in every group.The main target of the group will depend upon the cooperation of every members and of course with the manage of the leader.Every group together with the leader and the members will discuss what would be their purpose,and how this target will be realized.
*INTERDEPENDENCE-this aspect will become realized when the members will contribute their ideas and then that ideas will inclose to complete the task of the group.

• to be independent learner with the end of making the critical and creative thinkers

Disadvantages in traditional classroom

• their is a tendency that the student are copying the work of her/his classmates during the activities done

Advantages in SCL Classroom

• the student become active not passive learners, who can interact with other learners
• demonstrating independence
• self-awareness in the learning process

• brainstorming on the ideas,problem

Disadvantages in SCL Classroom

• in this way some student are not listen creatively to the speaker
• some student become lazy
  
• some student at the back set are not listening they keep on talking with their seatmates

The concept of smart school is not new. In developed countries, smart schools have shifted the paradigm of focus on student needs and capabilities and individual student development.

APIIT Smart School Sdn Bhd, a part of the APIIT Education Group commenced operations in January 2006. Their objective is to provide an educational structure that allows for the mental, academic and physical growth of each child in a nurturing and personalized environment.


The Malaysian Smart School Flagship was premised on the strong belief that information and communication technology is a key enabler to imparting the learning desire to all. The impact of technology on education and future generations is undoubtedly enormous. The Smart School Flagship is one of the seven flagship applications envisaged under the Multimedia Super Corridor initiative.

It was implemented on a Pilot basis between 1999 and 2002. Deemed one of the most forward-looking ICT-mediated learning initiatives in the world, the Smart School Flagship attempts to reinvent the teaching-learning processes.

In technical jargon, the Malaysian Smart School is a learning institution that has been systemically reinvented in terms of teaching and learning as well as the improvement of the school management processes in order to help students cope and leverage on the Information Age. Smart School is not just about ICT intervention in teaching and learning.

The national curriculum and pedagogy are given the highest importance, with the role of teachers, administrators, parents and the community enhanced in the education of the Malaysian students. Individuality, creativity and initiative amongst the students are prioritised. However, ICT is critical in making the teaching and learning processes easier, more fun and effective,		as well as making communication and management among the stakeholders more efficient. The Malaysian Smart School is a place where all students can learn within a conducive learning environment. It offers various curricula with on-going evaluation, handled by professional administrators and teachers

I am Genelyn Lopez 20 years of old,you can call me "gen" or "lyn". I am the 5th daughter of Mr.& Mrs. Carlito Lopez the residence of Bungahan, Antequera, Bohol, but for now I'm presently living in Poblacion Antequera Bohol.I can describe my self as a simple girl,with 5'1 in height with curly long hair and brown skin.My favorite color is pink & white. I love listening slow rock music and sheet music.I live to eat vegetable salad.My hobbies is reading novels either watching television if I have nothing to do anymore.

From Ed Tech 1, I had so many things that I've learned. I learned how to make a test paper with corresponding design. Ive learned also how to compute grades of the pupils using Microsoft Excel, in this way we can save more time in computing grades in the future.
